Director Kiyama wanted a localized project that didn’t connect to the internet, because the Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center may not have had a reliable connection available. Upon research made, ‘exhibit showcases’ weren’t available from online vendors and there were limited funds for this project.

The project was successfully completed and running after a total of under 72 hours of work time.

I thought about an exhibit piece I saw in the past at the Oregon Historical Museum in their cultural experience area that had an interactive touch screen display. I used that idea to create the final web page with 60+ individual linked pages.
The videos were the main pieces of the project that needed clear and simple descriptions. Allowing older generations to interact with a straight-forward piece was the goal that was met satisfactorily.
